255- Mental health Shout-outs shutdowns

Back in June 2016, I had started sharing shout-outs to various mental health bloggers I'd met in twitter MH community. Now, by June 2021, I have lost touch with most of the people I did the shout-out for. Some actually had stopped blogging, retreated from social media ; others used me and I don't feel leaving a shout-out for them on my own blog anymore, as I don't accept some of their actions towards me.

254- Books & education

Light Trigger Warning, and grab a cuppa for 1,136 word entry

In entry 251, I mentioned that several events delayed my postings in 52weekgratitude challenge, which was supposed to have 1 entry per week. I'll try to catch up on both weeks 24 & 25, but expand them because I find their topics are closely related.

253- A-Z self care

Self-care is a big thing in the mental health community. There are loads of videos, blog entries and challenges for it. This is understandable for several reasons, and I'll give the ones that correspond to my own case.

252- Psychotherapy June 2017

Yesterday's psychotherapy session falls under the "mixed bag" header. Indeed, I had expected a confirmation of our auto-diagnostic of Asperger's syndrome, as discussed in my post from 3 weeks ago.

251- Nonbinary hair

Several events delayed 2 posts in 52weekgratitude challenge, and since their topics are very different, I'll split them accordingly. However, I won't backdate them, because that'd change all my ordered numbering.

Here goes week 23, which was supposed to be posted during the week of June 4-10 : my favorite physical trait is currently my hair. With the exception of rare trimming, I haven't had it cut for about 3 years, as I wanted to try once more to let it grow long.

250 - CBT2017-20, June exposures & more

This morning marked the 20th CBT session (with my second CBtherapist) and was very positive!

Indeed, during the 19th session from May 2nd, we had set a series of additional exposures, with the aim of avoiding the fewest possible social situations, and to increase not only level of difficulty, but also the frequency of these exposures.

249 - My (c)ptsd bucket of traumas

***multiple trigger warnings***

Remember my post a bucket-load of anxieties ? Here is the equivalent for my cptsd, to offer you an overview of my life, trauma and subsequent cptsd.

Some material here is new. I'll detail those more than the ones I have discussed elsewhere, and hotlink relevant posts.

248 - My 14 year vegan anniversary!

I chose a lifestyle of compassion very early in my life, and despite a few occasions where I was forced to eat chicken and fish in my youth as I couldn't refuse my father's orders about it in those times, I have always striven to be the best version of myself and to eat according to my own philosophal belief system.

247 - Komputer-Welt

Computers can be costly, and need to be more environmentally friendly ; I hope companies will get there. but, in the meantime, computers offer ways of storing information, typing journals or books, and with the internet we can also add messages for oneself or to share with others.
